Kathryn is a fourth generation Tampa native! She graduated from Chamberlain High School in 1999, and received her E.F.D.A. with honors from Erwin Technical College in 2003. Friendly and pleasant to talk to, Kathryn is a delight here at Britten Dental Associates! Her amiable demeanor illuminates throughout our office and is most welcoming to all of our patients. Handling many duties and keeping our office team organized is quite the task! But Kathryn handles this with her calmness and practical nature. She even organizes office gatherings and projects. Paying extra attention to detail, she has a gift for explaining multiple treatment options and dental language to patients to help them make the best decisions for their dental care.
Kathryn and Les have been married since 2003. They enjoy hiking in the mountains, traveling and spending time with family and their 6 cats!
Christy is from Yorktown, Indiana. She went to Indiana University for 4 years and then received her Expanded Functions from the School of Dentistry in 1993. She moved to Florida in 1998.
Being a very detailed orientated person and artistic in nature, Christy is especially skilled at her craft! She has a knack for being organized and solving problems. Christy’s welcoming and friendly disposition make our patients feel comfortable; she goes above and beyond to help our patients feel reassured in the treatments and care they receive.
Christy is married to her husband, Nick, and they have two children, Orion and Caloi. Her other two children are her fur babies! Sparky, is a Labradoodle who rocks a cool mohawk.
Having a profound faith in God, Christy has been a youth leader for many years, mentoring young ladies. Her willingness to teach and share her knowledge is rare.
Christy enjoys puzzles, crafts, painting and kayaking in her free time.
Jen was born an American citizen from Canal Zone, Panama. She has lived in Florida since 1979. After graduating from King High School in 1994, she pursued her Expanded Functions from Erwin Technical College, graduating top of her class in 1996. Jen’s fun-loving, yet compassionate personality are just what patients appreciate upon their visits with us. Making her patients feel comfortable and confident with our care is Jen’s goal every time. Along with providing quality service, Jen loves to bring a good sense of humor and laughter to the atmosphere.
In 2010, Jen married her husband, Jimmy. She has two daughters, Corina and Cheyenne, and the “lights of her life”, Janelle, her granddaughter and Jasiah, her grandson.
On Jen’s free time, she enjoys cooking, singing, making flower arrangements and spending time with family, including her rescued Pitbull, Miranda!
Deanna was born and raised in the New Port Richey, FL area. As a young child in braces, she knew that she wanted to pursue a dental career. In 2009, she became an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant. Not too long after, she started attending the Dental Hygiene program at St. Petersburg College, FL. Deanna graduated at the top of her class with Sigma Phi Alpha recognition, received an Associates of Science in Dental Hygiene and certification in Administering Local Anesthetic in 2021. She is always seeking to learn and expand her knowledge in her profession. This led her to further her education thus receiving her Bachelors of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene, graduating Magna Cum Laude from St. Petersburg College, FL in 2023.
Deanna and her husband Alex met in high school, tied the knot in 2014 and are still dating! They enjoy line dancing and water based activities like boating, fishing and scalloping. Deanna also enjoys cooking, spending time with her nieces and spoiling her two fur babies, Clementine and Bella.
Larisa is a Lutz native! She attended Lutz Elementary School and graduated from Gaither High School in 2001. Larisa kicked off her dental hygiene dream by graduating with honors at St. Petersburg College in 2012. Once she completed her local anesthetic certification in 2013, she furthered her education by receiving her Bachelors of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene in 2014. During the early years of her career, Larisa worked for a periodontist. The extensive knowledge she gathered there has equipped her to skillfully perform deep cleanings in such a gentle way using a very thorough technique. Larisa has a passion for educating her patients about the mouth-body connection and how their oral health plays a role in their entire systemic well being.
Larisa and Dr. Britten originally met in elementary school and after reconnecting many years later, they married in 2013. She loves spending time with their daughters, Elle and Blair, and some of their favorite things to do together are nurturing their vegetable garden and riding their golf cart or bikes through their neighborhood in search of critters! Larisa has two cats, Brandy and Donnie, but wishes she could have an otter as well!
